The Melbourne is a 35 x 7 m tug, sunk in 1979 at one of the largest artificial reef projects in Australia - the Curtin Artificial Reef in Moreton Bay, QLD.

"I have been waiting to upgrade from a handheld GPS for a long time and after looking at the great reviews for the Raymarine Dragonfly it was an excellent option. Very easy to install and the first time I had taken the unit onto the water I was able to get near perfect images with the unit on auto settings, 0.5m chop and a 3knt current. Very impressive as most sounders require a lot of tinkering to achieve an acceptable image.
I am really impressed with the unit and can not wait to get some more excellent downvision images in deeper water. Anyone in the market for a new combo unit should seriously consider the Dragonfly!" |
